Traditional restaurant in Seyssel since 1950
Between the Grand Colombier and the Montagne des Princes, the country of Seyssel was shaped by the Rhône, the king of rivers. It's the marriage of water from the sky, the plains and the mountains.
This is where the hillsides of the Seyssel vineyards, one of France's oldest appellations d'origine, grow.
The history of the vine goes back to the 10th century, and its development by the monks of Avières to the 14th century.
There are plenty of walks and visits to be enjoyed in the surrounding area, from art and history (Château de Clermont) to discovering the flora and fauna (Espace sport et nature du Fier).
At the crossroads of Bresse, the Alps and the Jura, you can combine poultry, frogs, arctic char, lavaret, crayfish and cheeses with the fragrant Seyssel wine to delight as many people as possible.
